The world of tropical greenhouses has always fascinated me. It’s the perfect jungle, warm and welcoming, without the dangerous animals. A sort of paradise lost and found, reconstructed under glass. In these places, we are in an illusion of wilderness, but everything is in fact under control. Every two years, in the greenhouses of the Jardins des Plantes in Paris, a magnificent event is held called 1001 orchids. Hundreds of flowers are scattered throughout the plantations, embodying an even more perfect fantasy of nature. An ideal source of inspiration.
